Y'mean I have to pay for this?

I was very much looking forward to getting on-line when I got home from work last night. Steve's son was over, and when he's over Steve usually goes to bed early, and then I get to enjoy most of my evening on the computer. However, our phone line is down. We checked all the phones...nothing was off the hook. Steve thought he might've got the bill in a little late so that means no telephone until the phone company gets the check. I really hope that's today. If not, I'll miss all you wonderful people again.

Here's an extra special *hug* for Ben, just in case I don't make it on this evening.

Mmmm...butterflies...

I just enjoyed another very fun conversation with Ben. So far we've hit it off pretty well on-line. He and I seem to get a long really well. (*hugs* for you hexas2) But, there is this distance problem. Plus, the fact that what you get in real life isn't always what you get on-line...and sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes it isn't. I'm really, really hoping things go well for us. I'm planning on visiting Ben in January, and if that goes well, I hope that he visits Minneapolis sometime in the spring. But, I worry a lot...what if it /doesn't/ go well? What if there is no *click*? I know...I worry to much... I guess I'll just have to hope and pray for the best, whatever that may be.

Wish me luck

I may have finally found an enjoyable way to supplement my insufficient fabric store income. St. Olaf's Catholic Church here in Minneapolis put up postings that they're looking for people to fill paid section leader positions in one of their groups. Apparently my private lesson teacher sings at that church, so she's already put in a few good words for me. Tonight I get to go for the first time to find out if they like me/I like them. Please, wish me luck. If nothing else, I could use the money. Plus, I think it would be another fun opportunity to sing. (It's the church's "contemporary group" which doesn't mean much for a Catholic church, but it's nonetheless better than traditional church music all the time)
